Yes ladies who wants Bjork and Nine Inch Nails AKA Trent Renzor to produce a record together.

I personally believe they will make a kickass one as they both have a talent for mixing seemingly mismatched music WITH vocals ... *sigh*

I can dream can't I?

I will listen to anything produced by Trent.

As far as Bjork goes...

I'm for it as long as they wire her to a crucifix like they did the monkey in the "Closer" video.

And need I add:

There is a soundtrack to my favorite movie?

I spent all that time ripping that Leanord Cohen song out of a DVD for nothing?

great soundtrack too, it's over seventy minutes long. all the tracks are mixed together well too. although, the movie did have 56 songs used in it (world record, actually), and the soundtrack only has 27 tracks. still pretty damn cool to listen to though.

and why'd it take you so long to rip the dvd? just mux off the ac3 file, decode it to wave, clip the last five minutes with cool edit and downsample to 44khz. not tough at all. i have plans on doing that to my new eddie izzard dvd in the near future.

it would only work if bjork got to write the songs and arrangements, and trent did the production. it would be a very interesting pairing--they're both dark in very different ways.

Sounds like trying to mix oil + water, not a good pair to me.

Much better would be Trent & Toni Halliday from Curve, sympathetic styles that would mesh well.......Trent and Bjork are the odd couple.

Yeah, I agree with that. I own nearly all the NIN cds and a few Bjork CDs, I don't see how they would mesh. Plus, Trent is a control freak of sorts from what I've read. I don't know how such a collaboration would go nor how long it would take. I mean look how long tapeworm has been in the works.

Forgive my ignorance but I've never heard Beck

Any suggestions on what to look out for in Beck?

Well since Beck is a slacker/indie/experimental rock/mondo strange-o musician I figured he and Bjork had one thing in common:
-both are kinda wierd characters

But you are probablly right Bjork with anyone is the odd couple.
