I am intend to buy my firts phone and I would like from you opinios about this two phones:
 
- Shure SRH550DJ
- Audio-Technica ATH-PRO5MK2
 
I am looking for sound quality, confort etc...

Is there something in particular you want that those headphones deliver, or did you select them based on appearance (don't be ashamed, we all did that at one point)?

Part of it depends on the portability you want from your headphones. If you need them to be closed and portable, there are some options out there. If you can deal with them not being as portable, open headphones or headphones that require more amping will generally give you a more open and natural sound with a faster decay. This will make the soundstage better and increase the detail. This isn't a hard and fast correlation, of course.
 
Also, it depends on what kind of sound signature you want. Do you want them to be neutral sounding, or do you like the bass, treble, or mids boosted a little? This tends to change with different types of music; bass and treble boosted headphones sound good with electronic music, for an example.
 
Finally, what price range are you looking at? Those models of headphones can cost different amounts based on where you are and where you're buying from.
