Needless to say I am a newbie, currently using a Marantz 2220B with a cd player and a pair of Grado sr80's. I am a longtime music lover/audiophile with an analog main system. It is all tube. I have looked at the little dot mklll with some enthusiasm until someone recommended the o2. 
Firstly how much better will either of those be than the old faithful Marantz? Secondly does anyone have any direct experience with the o2 and ld mklll? thanks

If you like grado's the LD1+ is supposed to be a better match.  I love mine with my grado's but to be fair I haven't heard them with other LDs so I can't really say for certain.
