I am looking to buy some high-end closed back headphones so that I don't annoy my partner when listening to music in the same room as her.

I currently have Grado GS-1000's, and like their sound, is there anything closed that can rival or even better these?

At work / traveling around I use Sen HD25-1 II's and I love their sound, I just wish they had a bit more sound stage.

-I'm willing to spend up to $1,300 USD on the right pair.
-I listen to a very wide range of different very dynamic music, Jazz, Blues, Metal, Rock and Folk.
-I have an Objective2 amp and HRT MS-II so there are no issues there.

I read a lot of headphone reviews, forum posts etc... I've heard good things about the high-end Denons?

Currently considering:

* Denon AH-D7000
* Ultrasone Edition 8 Palladium
* Ultrasone Signature Pro

Or do I just scrap the idea of going closed and get some LCD-2's?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Just saw the Ultrasone Signature Pro, they might be what I go with!

I think the Signature Pro would give a better coloration to your ears than the Edition 8, as well as being less expensive.
