Hey guys,

Really loved the K81's when I first got them. At that time, I was not very critical of sound so I didn't mind the crazy bass. The isolation was great too. But even after stretching the headband for several days, the comfort is still bad. I haven't used them in several months and I'm looking to move on.

I don't need great isolation anymore, I just want a comfortable, portable headphone to use when I don't feel like using iems.

Does anyone have recommendations? Thanks

I'm with you. I'm a current K81 owner too, and I'm after a little more refinement in the mids and treble though.

Some models I keep looking into are:

Sennheiser HD25 II
Denon D2000 (this is the one I think I'll try next, although they look really, really BIG)
Audio Technica ATH-ESW9
