I was looking at thomasdistributing.com for one 9 volt battery but with shipping it'd cost me over $18 which is more than I want to spend.

Does anyone know of a site that sells good Ni-MH 9 volts with free shipping?

Define "good". Ebay sells lots of Chinese NiMH batteries anywhere from real reasonably to dirt cheap and since most batteries are made in China anyhow, this may be the way to go. They also have some decent package deals where you get a number of batteries plus a universal recharger. Might be worth it to check it out.
