I'm new to the forums and also in the market for new headphones. My budget is $150-$250. Right now I'm leaning toward getting the Audio Technica M-50, but I need opinions.
 
I listen to Psychedelic, Classic Rock, Classical, and Oldies. I occasionally listen to Heavy Metal, Rap, Hip-Hop. Some artists I prefer:

At $200 let me suggest the Grado 225i. If will do OK with the classical and do great with the Rock.
