Hey i am looking for my first pair of good headphones i am in to Rap music and I am looking for something that is going to bounce off my head with pure powerful bass response now i have 3 pairs in mind here they are

1. Ultrasone HFI 580 Or HFI 780
2. Beats By Dre Studios
3. Denon AD-HP1000
4. Beyerdynamic DT 770 M Or Beyerdynmic DT 770 Pro

Now if you guys can let me know what you think the best headphones would be for me and my basshead cravings , they do not have to be the one`s on this list I just want to know what the best headphone`s are for Listening to Strictly Rap, Hip-hop with crazy amount of heart thumping bass, thanks guys, also if you can tell me what the difference is between the two beyerdynamic headphones the DT 770 M and the DT 770 PRO`S..

So whats the difference between the DT 770 M  and the DT 770 PRO`s    they both come in 80 ohms so i need to know what the difference`s cause i am going to buy a pair really soon now i am a major masshead that listen to rap and hip hop and i am looking for a pair of headphones with crazy amounts of bass now do the DT 770 PRO`s have more bass then the DT 770 M , that all i need to know also when i read up on the DT 770 PRO`s have "Bass reflex" technology for improved bass response  and when i read up on the
DT 770 M they do not say anything about having the Bass reflex technology and also the DT 770 PRO has a Frequency response of
... 5 - 35,000 Hz and the DT 770 M Has a Frequency response... 5 - 30,000 Hz , so what do you guys think , do you think they have the same amount of bass or the Pros have more bass please let me know thanks

DT770 M summary: extreme noise isolation and no sound leakage, super small sound stage (almost like listening to music in mono), not much bass, recessed treble, comfort is medium. Great for drummers, bad for music.

DT770Pro summary: good noise isolation and little sound leakage, large sound stage for a closed headphone, bass a little inflated, recessed mids, comfort is good.

I forgot whether or not they use the same drivers but at least the pads are different. The Pro has velour ones and the M pleather iirc.

For normal use get the DT770 Pro. The M is more a tool than a pair of phones to enjoy your music with.

You may also want to check out the Phiaton MS400 and the VModa Crossfade. I have not yet heard these two sets but they are on my radar for basshead cans.

Also instead of the HFI780 and 580 I would like to recommend the Pro 900 which is a few levels above the HFIs when it comes to bass response.

Do you really think you're going to hear 35000 Hz? Unless you're buying them for your dog ignore that. Also I wouldn't buy the M for music.
