OK - I surrender - I've seen claims that the Z7 is a better headphone than the Z1000, but we all know how that goes. I only staggered across these phones when reading reviews of Sony's PHA-3 : not in the market for either ATM, just asking.

Edit: looking at the Amazon prices, its clear which one Sony considers the better headphone - back to you.
