I'm glad you're still enjoying your 07. The only thing left for me is to get the BH Crack.

Right this minute, I would have to say my old Beyer DT880 I got back in 2005 (with Cardas cable) - even all these years on, it still punches well above its weight - makes you wonder at times why we all end up spending so much more...

I heard the crack, finally, this weekend. It's as good as they say, especially with the hd650.

Matt,
It is one hell of an amp..
I did not build mine...bought it from a another head-fier ,who built it for me
With the HD800's,,they totally amaze me...
I'm near the end of my game???.

Waiting for the Bifrost, to come back from Schiit...been using the Gr07's for a week now..miss my 800's
PM me,if you want the name of my crack builder-OK?

Two headphones: Denon D2000, Ultrasone Hfi-780 (great for movies and games although they sound a bit metallic and unnatural.

Thanks for the triple post FlyingFungus

 Just ordered a Ultrasone Hfi-780 after your description of it being a bit metallic and unnatural. Sounds like my kind of headphone reminding me of the Koss UR40 and Audio Technica Ath AD700.

One more thing i forgot to mention about my previous choices the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro and Audio Technica ATH AD700 is they are both very comfortable. I guess i must have a headphone head since i never have the problems others complain about when it comes to vice grip clamping or too loose fittings.

If I could choose only one for everything it'd have to be obviously an IEM (spend too much time on bus), so it'd certainly be my Philips SHE9850. I can't even count how many hours I spent listening to them, how many great bands I discovered. They were my first good phones and even after listening much technically superior cans (HD650) I still miss their signature...

That being said, my second one would be a full-size... maybe HD600 or L1... I'll tell you when I choose one of them this weekend :wink:

1 = Stax SR-009s

2 = Stax SR-009s & Fostex TH900s

For home: AKG Q701

Portable: Vsonic GR01

Im still trying to tune my T50rp's to sound the way I want, so the Q701 and the GR01 are still my two top choices.

Only 1 headphone: already have it, Senn HD800.

only 2 headphones: I would add the Audeze LCD-3, for a different flavor.....BUT, I'm certainly not pining for an LCD-3....I have true bliss with my single pair...!!
