I feel like my HD6XX that I have, my first hifi purchase, just isn't lively or captive enough for dedicated listening sessions. I think I could listen to them while working / studying for awhile. But when sitting down and focusing just on the music / emotions I think it a bit lacking. What other headphones should I check out? I was going to test some Focal and Mr Speakers Aeon at my local hifi store.

Ah, yea that one. I thought maybe if I liked the Focal house sound at my local hifi store than I might pickup the Massdrop version and save some cash. Otherwise that would have to be a sight unseen purchase!
