I am having trouble finding the screws with goes into the holes of a PCB and keeps it elevated from the bottom of the case. I don't know what you call it and had no luck finding it at Radio Shack. Can someone tell me what you call it and the best places to find them? Thank you very much.

Standoffs come in various sizes and lengths and can be found at many places

digikey and mouser come to mind on the internet.

Cheers

a local PC shop should carry them too, they use them for motherboards.

if you ask nicely they might even give you a pack for free

They are also known as spacers. You can go to your local hardware store for some. Typical spacer threads are 4-40 or 6-32.

um...because i had electronics on my mind and all the computer shops i know of in manhattan only sell full systems, not parts. nor did i think a hardware shop would carry such an item because i have never ever seen them there before. jackass.
