My speaker rig currently has a borrowed Toshiba 3950 (Thanks Nate!) while my Denon DVM 3700 is in for service. I just got word recently that they're having trouble finding parts, so odds are I'll end up with store credit.

My headphone rig has my Denon DVM 4800. Can you tell how much I love the Denon's sound? The ALPHA processor can't be beat to my ears!

Just this week, Gary. It's a stunner, much like your SCD-1. Of course I will have it along at any meets.

Going onto my 3rd year with the Arcam FMJ CD23T. Absolutely smooth details galore, a CDP that has no particular sound signature.

Amazing the variety of players people use, I'd imagined that it would be more homogenous for some reason. This is an interesting time for sources, with the redbook CD format sort of on the brink of being replaced by something else (but nobody's quite sure what!).
