One of my favourite ambient albums of all time.

Weckl earned his Fusion notoriety with Chick Corea for a six year stint.
Here in 1989 the drummer assembles and leads a very tight crew creating high energy works of sonic beauty.

Same here. I have one from 2013. No one comes close in that range as per note weight. Unique sound.Yep! I have 3 of them just in case of failure. I love them that much. I've had a bunch of people listen to the HE6se V2 vs the LCD 2.2 and all preferred the 2.2.

I had a pre-fazor LCD2 that had the left channel die. I sent it in for a full refurbish last year. With the non-leather pads I prefer the fazor.........with leather pads the fazor digs into your ear...lol

When I got into this hobby, most everybody had the Audez'e LCD-2 or LCD-3. I personally have owned the X and XC, then sold them after I heard the LCD-4 which I still own. That Audez'e house bass is not easily beat!
For today: in memory of David Sanborn. Not easy choices - there are many recordings.
Mr. Sanborn gets in a lot of tasty licks here. BTW, he's the alto sax player.
Mr. Butterfield on vocals & harp. The guitarist is Elvin Bishop, and the album
is named for him ... "The Resurrection of Pigboy Crabshaw."
Powerful Chicago blues by Otis Rush. The horn section kicks.
Gorgeous music. Some heavy hitting musicians here, in addition to the leads.
Marcus Miller - bass, Steve Gadd - drums, Eric Gale and Paul Jackson - guitars.
Song composed by David Sanborn.
More jazz-oriented than the last album. Christian McBride on bass, Steve Gadd
on drums, Don Alias on percussion, Mike Mainieri on vibraphone.
