This was my childhood. Anytime I listen to "Woman in Chains" I'm transported to a nostalgic memory of me sitting in the front seat with my mom driving an '82 Corolla late at night and smelling her Chanel perfume. On Diana MR, Orzabal's guitar rizz is unbelievably exquisite.
"Everybody Wants to Rule the World" in HS played this track to death as I daydreamed of crushing my school bullies, later to discover what the song really means lol

This album is a compilation from Chick celebrating his 75th birthday in 2016,
via a six-week engagement at the Blue Note in NYC. Chick recreates some of
his bands including Return to Forever, Elektrik Band, Trio and From Miles with
in some cases different musicians. He also plays a number of duets.


Return to Forever, the music composed by Stanley Clarke and Flora Purim,
Frank Gambale is on guitar.

Chick's Trio with Brian Blade on drums and Gary Peacock on bass (in place
of Christian McBride).
