What Are You Listening To Right Now?

Oh, I know what you mean there, or I can have a favorite but it can be in a state of constant flux.

Sometimes there is a rare artist who, at least for a certain person, will have the keys to unlock something in them they didn't even know was there; very special music they needed to hear but didn't know existed but found by a happy accident - I'd think most folks would have somebody like that.

Agreed, if somebody asked me for my 'favourite band' the list could go endless.

And yes, every once in a while you found again that artist you didn't know about that blows you away for this or that reason, right?

Hélène Grimaud, Konstantin Krimmel - Silvestrov: Silent Songs
Nice relaxing charming voice, enjoy. Grimaund had already number of fine recordings, but Konstantin Krimmel is mostly unknown. He is also unknown to Deutche Grammophone, as he hasn't heen credited as an artist. This is a way DG promote young German artists. .LOL.

Singing in Russian, perhaps someone at the DG assumed he was Russian and applied sanctions. :frowning2:

- Hélène Grimaud, piano
- Konstantin Krimmel, baritone vocal

Got recommended With A Hammer a week ago, I like it and has thrown me into trying more from her.

What is going on here. They are churning out phenom 12-year-olds now? I'm not joking either as he just turned 13 when this was done. LOL. Angelic voice, seasoned “all family” band, just freakish talent. You may not like these sounds, but what he's creating with unbelievable God given talents at this age, is nothing short of incredible.

My mouth is wide open, lower jaw on floor.

Listen to those horns in Manifesto and don't tap your toes and nod your head. Go ahead. I dare you.

Yes indeed - when that happens, you get magic going on....
