Is that Eddie's cousin on Backslash? Or is Eddie hiring himself out to other bands?
I thought the same thing. There's not much originality out there anymore. Either way, they're not bad. Maiden's their biggest influence but the singer is nowhere near Bruce in the vocal department.

Pink Floyd - Dogs (from 2018 remix of Animals)

Can't wait for the full album remix to be available on Qobuz!

Hey Glen, Pretty nice, huh? I'm with you, can't wait for this one...

...especially for this track!

Great pictures. I saw Pink Floyd, at The Spectrum in Philadelphia, PA, in I want to say 1976, but it might have been 1977. It was the "Animals" tour. They did all of "Wish You Were Here," Intermission (which was kind of a rare concert thing...) They did all of "Animals." Then encore, they did all, or most of, "Dark Side Of The Moon." I don't have the ticket, but I bet it didn't cost more than $35.00. I had good seats, but I wasn't as close as you!

PS. I just recently read in an "American Songwriter" article the following explanation by Roger Waters to "Rolling Stone," about the origin of the song "Comfortably Numb." "Waters told Rolling Stone in a December 2004 interview that the meaning behind “Comfortably Numb” was based on personal experience. In 1977, Waters suffered from hepatitis, which can cause tiredness, abdominal pain, and vomiting. At a show that year in Philadelphia, a sleazy doctor injected him with a tranquilizer before a show. He said “That was the longest two hours of my life, trying to do a show when you can hardly lift your arm.” That may have been the show I attended.

Thank you! You saw them at the Spectrum?? I saw them at the Spectrum Theater on the 'Meddle' tour in '72, when they were still playing earlier versions of what came out as 'Dark Side Of the Moon'; the tour program called it 'Eclipse: A Piece For Assorted Lunatics'. That was the whole second set; the first set was 'Echoes' and several other gooders....

They were still not that popular yet, so they closed off half the Spectrum, put the stage in the middle of the floor, with seating in a semicircle just in that half of the place. Alas, no photos from that show.... I didn't live anywhere near there - my friends and I drove down from college in Rochester, NY! At other times we saw James Taylor there, and West, Bruce, and Laing....

Wow! Small world. I saw many of the best shows that I ever saw at The Spectrum, or nearby JFK Stadium. I saw Led Zeppelin at The Spectrum in 1975. That show, and the Pink Floyd show that I referenced, were the best concerts for me...
