Treated myself to the original pressing. Compared to the Remastered Special Edition, the soundstage is more recessed with less bass. However, the original pressing has a deeper soundstage with better timbre and presence. The dynamic range is also better.
The remaster is basically a classical recording remastered to pop sensibility. Get an original pressing. You will not be sorry.
