This album has been out for over a month now,
but I've been waiting to buy it until prices came down for the deluxe edition. $18 for a CD with large-scale worldwide distribution just doesn't make sense to me, especially when it's shipped in the same truckloads as the $10 version with five fewer songs, though of course they're only charging what people will pay. I would have liked to have been familiar with the album before seeing her at Bonnaroo this year, but it was worth the wait for a perfect used copy that only cost me $8. I miss some of the stylings of Paul Epworth's production on her previous albums, but Markus Dravs knows what he's doing as well and this is still another solid release from Florence + the Machine despite the change in producers.

How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful by Florence + the Machine

I've gone through this album a couple times now. It's still a big disappointment for me, it just sou day like stereotypical pop most of the songs are ones you would skip if they came up on shuffle imo.
