Hard to post a single track from this album and give a true idea of the band's range and ambition back then. I remember buying 'Truth and Soul' when it first came out and playing it again and again.
In later years, I felt they lost focus and variety a bit, but this is a tremendous album! Rock, doo-wop, punk, funk, ska, insane bass freakouts, social commentary and moments of genuine beauty and ugliness.
