I'm a real fan of that album. Have you ever heard the live version of "Tonight I'll Be Staying Here With You" from that album contained on this live album?

I really like the way the song had evolved by 1975...

It's my favorite Dylan album and in the top 10 of all time for me. I listen to it at least once a month. It's 27 minutes of musical bliss IMO. I have all the bootlegs but it's been while since I listened to that one. I'll visit it again when Skyline finishes.

It's interesting to compare the original studio version of the song and the live version in '75... It's one of my favorite Dylan songs.

The song is at least partially or mostly about truck driving. Since I spent five years of my life driving 18-wheelers, that song holds a special place for me.

Just listened to it. You're right that is a killer version. God I wish I was alive back then. I really didn't get into Dylan till 10 years ago (I'm 30) and if you go see him live nowadays no telling what you'll get.

Well, my friend, you're into Dylan, so although you're younger than me, I know you've found the good stuff and a lifetime of fantastic music!

I've seen Dylan live three times, I think. Around late '80s to mid '90s. Unfortunately, I'm not getting any younger and neither is he. In my humble opinion, he is the greatest songwriter of the 20th Century!

Yep, Bob's the gift that keeps on giving. I have pretty much everything except a few of the 80's album. I'll put him at #2 right behind Townes Van Zandt.
