Got my new speakers a few days ago. Today I was finally able to stop listening to test tracks, and enjoy music properly (lights out, shades and eyes closed...) Only had time to spin two discs, but boy was it an experience! 'Dido and Aeneas' had me in chills so powerful I couldn't believe it. The soundstage sucks you in and takes you to the opera house, and the performance has such emotion... It's unforgettable. I can't even imagine the emotional impact one could feel listening to this on a true high end system.

Also playing was Anne Bisson's 'Blue Mind'. This isn't the corny "audiophile music" I (sort of) expected it to be, rather it's quite moving.

Rush - Counterparts  -  Sounds great on the Q701. 256kbps AAC rip. iTunes/Fidelizer - USB to E17(+2db bass boost) - to Q701.

Now: some even older Rush - http://www.last.fm/user/mcjasonb
