Grand Jury Prizes or awards are no arguments to convince me of what sounds good to my ears or not, I'm afraid...

Likewise for movies, quite some awards mystify me, considering more interesting material that doesn't get the spotlight.

I was trying to tactfully say that I don't really care what you like or don't when you choose to criticize my choices. IMO this is a thread for sharing what we like, not to criticize what anyone else finds pleasing to the ear. Just because I don't agree with one of your favorites I still wouldn't use that as an excuse to troll in this thread. It's just not the place for doing that, so please show some restraint and keep your opinions to yourself if you can't find it within you to share something positive.

really depends on which awards/prize, some do have meaning (at least to me)

The Who's album "Who's Next", it is hard to believe reading this music was made in 1971. "Bargain" is playing now.

Set up: CD690 + SRC2496 + HP1000

good choice again

Yeah Who's Next rocks, gotta dig it out of my old vinyl along with some other early Who albums, Who By Numbers was a fun listen as I recall.

:) yes
He has some records with beautiful sounding guitar. Love his voice too.

I just figured out that he has posted his entire Le Noise 40-minute movie on YouTube in 720p, that he also sells on dvd/blu-ray, what a cool guy. Just caught a 1971 version of Old Man that was in pretty decent quality too. Of course I'm staying up way too late and using up too much bandwidth because of him but it's all good as they say.
