Hi.
Well, i´m new in this forum, but not in listening to music.
I listen to music like metal, rock, drum&bass and electronic music. I had the panasonic RP-HJE120, but they got broken after a year of use, (was my fault); they had warranty, so, the store where i bought them, replaced for a new set [the same] and then i sold them...

I recently saw in another store the headphones Panasonic RP-HJE355 (with the logo "High Fidelity") and RP-HJE290 (with the logo "deep bass").
Searching in Google, i saw that they have the same function  of "deep bass". I like the bass, but also the clarity of the sound.
The difference in prices are: (in my city)
RP-HJE355 $249 mexican pesos ($17.78 dollars)
RP-HJE290 $349 mexican pesos ($24.92 dollars)

I want to know if these models are better than the model RP-HJE120, and wich one of these (RP-HJE355 and RP-HJE290) is the best (in sound performance), and why.
Thanks in advance

The HJE355 is so much better than the HJE120. I have both. The HJE120 is lacking in bass and detail. It is also very inefficient(96 db/mw?) I don't have the HJE290. My guess from the description on Panasonic's website is that the HJE290 has more bass than the HJE355, but probably much less detail. The HJE355 has a higher list price than the HJE290. At around $18 the HJE355 looks like a much better deal than the HJE290 at around $25.

Thanks for replying. I got the RP-HJE355 model and i´m proud of them, they have an excellent  audio definition. I can listen each part of the instruments of the song better than HJE120 model. I´d definately recommend these headphones.
