I've got about $200 ish for just headphones. In total i have about $450 saved up, but I need to buy an amp/dac and maybe a sound card because I am running on board audio

I own the Denon D2000 (can be found for $200 or so if you search around) and an Audinst HUD-MX1 dac/amp combo ($180 if I remember correctly) and I am very happy with the pairing. I do have limited experience listening to other headphones but based off the genres you listed, I would think you would like them (I'm assuming you listen to the first four genres more than classical. D2000's strength is IMO their bass). 
 
Like Slaughter said, search around, but I listen to similar genres and eventually ended up with the above equipment.
