i was looking to spend 100$ on in ear headphones.was about to get the klipsh s 4 but i would like to know if there are better headphones then the s4

The S4 is not very well regarded here. It is often considered over priced at its MSRP but you can easily find it going for perhaps $40 in many places. $40 dollars is however not even close to your budget max and I would highly recommend the RE-400 which goes for just under $100.

Sound preference (signature, genres, etc)? Isolation? Comfort? Build?
 
No longer are the S4s top of the cream. Fairly mediocre by today's standards.
