I dont know so much about amps and dacs, or headphones at that. But I'm entering the audiophile culture through the Alpha dogs!
I would like to know what a good amp/dac combo (for desktop) would be, nothing expensive if possible!
Maybe 2 in 1 if possible!

Schiit Lyr + Bifrost is what MrSpeakers used to use with the Alpha Dog at meets/shows. They've recently seemed to have changed to Mjolnir + Gungnir or alternately a Burson Conductor + Cavalli Liquid Glass though, but those are expensive.
