The HM-801 is only useful if you want to completely off-set the sound signature of your headphones. In the case of the ES5, for me, I am only interested in having it sound the way Westone intended.
 
Got new impressions and am getting ready to ship them back one more (last?) time. Even though my custom designs were expertly implemented by the folks at Westone's art department last time I'm currently contemplating not using them this time, instead going for perhaps smoke or merlot. Anyone got some good pictures of their smoke ES5s?

I have a Pelican 1010 as well. Much more compact and portable compared to the one that comes with Westone.

Thanks a lot for the link man. They don't seem to put any IEMs on sale. How to actually purchase one? Email them?
