Yes i did it. I purchased the Beats Studios in white by Monster Cable, now i know why they are hated around here for realz. Build quality 5 out of 10. Sound 6 out of 10. Packaging 11 out of 10. Marketing 100 out of 10.

I has to test them myself to see what all the hype is about. Yes the bass response is great thanks to the built in batteries but sound isolation sucks big time.

No worth the money at all. Should be $99.

SchneiderStudios;6476247 I bet the batteries are just to amplify for better bass.. And the leak sound like a speaker at low volumes..[/QUOTE said:
Reading that statement sure does remind me of some sentry sound(I think that's the name of them) noise canceling headphones I tried from big lots a few years ago. They were horrible, and also were battery powered. When you switched the noise cancellation on, all it did was to amplify the already boomy bass response.

*face palm*

Maybe this will serve as a warning.

You should do a full review with comparisons to your D2000's

Post it in a new thread with Beats studio review in it, so it is more searchable by google

The thing I don't get is the noise canceling is barely there to even notice. At least the Bose QC15's have pretty impressive noise canceling ability.

The OP should get the head-fi equivalent of a "ghetto pass" for this....

Yes so terrible it's not funny. Noise cancelation? Are you kidding me? I bet the batteries are just to amplify for better bass.. And the leak sound like a speaker at low volumes.. Terrible plastic construction and at least provide leather ear pads!
