Howdy ya'll,
I thought I encountered my first ever DRM protected CD, but now I'm not so sure.
I bought a reissue of "Curtis", by duh, Curtis Mayfield. Brand new CD. iTunes will not play it, will not import it with some silly
error. It fails on track two. I cannot even copy the AIFF files to the desktop in Finder.
A friend tells me DRM stopped in 2007. I also own several CDs that were apparently DRM protected and my Macs have faithfully
imported them over the years.
I know it's not my disc drive as I imported a different Curtis Mayfield CD after.
I'm going to try another machine tomorrow.
Any ideas? I tried playing it on my blu-ray player, and it worked.
