Watch old Youtube vids in their original definition!

to any youtube vid, no matter how old, add this to the end of the address-

&fmt=18

If the original vid had higher fidelity, it'll pop out. if the original vid had better visuals, same thing. and if it was originally in stereo, you'll hear it in stereo instead of having it smushed into mono!

newer youtube vids have a "view in hi def" link, but older vids don't. this is the way to get to them! go rediscover those fave vids and see which ones were lurking with better fidelity and in stereo!

Hah! Well if the rickroll was loaded up in low def, it's gonna stay low.

BTW here's one i found in 1964 - can you believe the fidelity unlocked once you add the blurb?
