Hi, I am new to the Hi-fi group and suffer from the crap mp3 players on the market. I am too cheep to convert my ipod touch to an line-out+ amp output stage, but the sound quality of the itouch is killing me.
Right now I am use both TF10 and SONY ex700, and i do not think even my DE2 can drive then well. The sibilance of my EX700 is killing me, and the lack of volume of my TF10 also makes me feel sad about these IEMs. I just want to go CD for a while and see what happens.
Right now, I am considering sony d-ne20 or sony d-ej2000, but not sure they are worth it. But they do look cool and very easy to carry. I do not own those crazy headset, so I do not wanna to spend too much on amp and dac, as only as they can drive an 33 ohm IEM, I will be happy.
Any good recos?
