So I currently have the Sennheiser CX470 and am looking to upgrade, I am looking at the Ultimate Ears 600,:

Will those give me a much better sound quality? My main concern is clarity over anything else.

The they have these which look awesome but $400 is a lot of money for me...

I would love to get them though, are those worth THAT much? For that price they better blow my mind...

I tried the RE0's in the past, they were decent but broke on me as well as the replacement I got.

I'm a big fan of my UE600vi.
I can't compare them to those Sennheisers, since I've never listened to them. But I find them sounding very nicely balanced and clear. Bass is slightly recessed, so if you like bass, they might not be a very good choice.

The one problem I have/had with my UE600vi was the cable. There is barely any strain-relief near the earphones, and none near the plug.
I've replaced mine twice already because I started loosing sound in my right ear due to a crack in the cable near the plug. Mostly caused because I always have my phone in my pocket and I listen to music when riding my bike to work. I had the same with the cheaper (older) MetroFi ones I owned.

Also, the mic version doesn't work properly with my Galaxy S III, so I can't really use them anymore..
