Had the older gr07 mk1.1 and gr07be, had zero problem with both, I gifted them away

 
Yeah I had my BE for 2 years, not a single problem and I used them consistently at the gym and on the road.  Not worried about my X purchase personally.  Just gotta keep my eyes on the window as they should be here today sometime.

Well after spending about 45 min. with the GR07X...I can just say...holy crap these are awesome.  I'm back in love w/ the VSonic sound and I'm glad I went with the X...just seems like it's slightly more refined from my previous memories of the GR07BE...and to me, either I'm getting older or it just seems similar, the GR07BE and the X version have similar amounts of bass, it just appears to be more accurate and a little faster on the X.  
 
More to come, but so far so good.  So happy right now.  I don't know why I left VSonic in the first place.

The bass to me seems slightly more, it is faster and more accurate, deeper stage , better mids. And I'm in love.vsd7 and vsd8 is around the corner so I can't wait for them

Yeah...it's been years.  People just move on.  We'll see if the hype train speeds up when the newer technology/models start appearing.  Plus, I had no idea an X version even was around until I started looking into just getting a new pair of BEs to replace the ones I lost.
