From Vsonic CEO Mr. Yu's microblog:
GR07 Classic will be priced at RMB ¥599. (USD $97)
Another BA/Dynamic hybrid model will be released at the end of the year, with titanium alloy shell and replaceable cable, priced at RMB ¥999. (USD $162)

Well, I expect that international sellers like LMUE will raise that price with 10 bucks or something to justify shipping cost but still very aggressive pricing from vsonic.

Glenair?

I wonder what they compare the GR07 Classic to if the VSD3 is already competitor to Shure SE535 and VSD5/VSD3S are competitors to Westone 4R/Sony MDR-EX1000, with all the aforementioned VSD-models being cheaper than the GR07 Classic.

Glenair is a new earbud product after the discontinued UU2.

Well, I think they are mostly comparing the new models in sound signature to shure and westone. The gr07 classic edition will probably be in line with the current gr07 and replacing it as the mk2 and BE are discontinued and the VSD7 I guess will be their new flagship with either better sq ot build quality at least until the VSD9 is released. This is me only speculating though.

And yeah, apparently there will be a new dirt cheap (literally) earbud model.

I just bought the gr 07 be. Will this classic edition be better/the same? If so feel like I just missed out :/

Depends on your personal tastes.  I've owned "the classic" , be, mk2 and got rid of the be and mk2 and got a second "classic" because I preferred the sound.  At under $100 I'll have no qualms about recommending it to anyone who will listen as THE "go to" IEM.

Don't assume that
classic = original, ie MK1

It's probably just a name since they are doing away with the MK2 and BE and replacing it with a single model. It's likely just to differentiate it from the upcoming VSD7.

Good news on the Classic...I'll still keep my BE and see how it reviews, but I suspect it will sound very similar to both the MKII and BE, since they sound quite similar.  I suspect it will be closer to the MKII tuning though.  Vsonic is tearing it up this year!
