Sorry I know this is a change of mind but the more I've been looking I think I want an open back headphone. I mostly use them at night in my room to not wake anyone up. I hear open backs dont have a lot of bass though. I love watching movies and movie soundtracks. I hook my phones into a Yamaha RX-V375 Receiver. What would you recommend for under $250? The Sennheiser HD 598 are $190 on amazon and the AKG Q 701 are $195. Which is better for movies and soundtracks? or is there something better?

I highly recommend the GMP 400 as the best all rounder. And it is more comfortable than the senns due to being lighter. If you can afford them, go for them.
