Finally decided to get the Hifiman he1000 stealth (2 days ago). Thanks to Fegefeuer’s recommendation on the V2, but sadly it’s no longer available here.
Got the V222 for around 2 weeks now. The sound of the HP is not yet as good as the demo unit at the shop, hopefully using it more will help open up the sounds so happy with this set up
Drop said the Violectric V222s were expected to ship on Nov. 9

Ordered mine fro CMA Audio on the 2nd November, arrived today. CMA Audio was really good with answering emails and updating. Only had 3hrs on the v222, but loving it so far.
Auditioned the V202 at CanJam Dallas using my own ZMF Verite (open). Despite the combination of a noisy show floor and open-back headphones, it was clear that the V202 is a punchy, warm and fun little amp. I really enjoyed it. Had me looking for an excuse to buy one (with a sweet show discount), but I really don't have a reason to buy a new amp. Glad I got to hear it though!

Yea, it has already been 2 months of waiting so what's another month lol. The lack of info is concerning though. Drop hasn't given anything to reassure their customers to keep their orders. Instead, they just note that it can be cancelled.

Back in Oct 2020 I ordered V280 at Drop, it was confirmed. Then on the shipment date 11 Dec 2020 got the exact same email update you have. Waited until 21 Dec 2020 then they said my order has become back-ordered and not sure when they’ll be stocked so they decided to cancel my order without my consent. Had a few email exchanges on how dissatisfied I was but it was useless.
Since that day I swear never to buy anything from DROP, and only supporting my local shops.
