I'm looking for some new headphones for an upgrade from my beats solo HD. I was just wondering in the v moda m100s are worth the $300? Will I notice a difference from them to the audio technica m50x? Because if not I will just go with the audio technica m50x. I like bass in my music but not overpowering bass if that helps. I listen to all genres of music. The headphones will not be used for monitoring, just casual and on the go listening.

Theres also the jvc sz2000 if you want more of a basshead can like the vmoda m100.

The yamaha pro 500s have dropped a ton in price in the US (they are now half their original msrp)

They probably wont come close to the bass quantity in the vmoda m100s
