The audio on my TV is terrible, and in the interests of utilizing the equipment I have instead of buying new audio equipment to hook up to my TV, is there a way to connect an 0404 usb to a TV? Eh?

Oops my TV is an older sony trinitron model kv32fs200...has the standard red/white audio outputs on back.

You can use the Emu only, if the Sony has digital out(spidf), which I doubt,
but, if you use any type of decoder than you can connect the DAC, and enjoy the sound mutting the TV.

I think the 0404USB accepts analogue input for ADC, but probably not line-level. It's aimed at instruments and microphones. If it did it would only possibly improve the headphone output, not source quality.

What is the rest of the setup? Do you want to use it for headphones or for speakers?

And sorry, I don't know much about this, what do you mean by decoder?

Satellite receivers, for example have all digital out
