How would the Shure SE310 and Klipsch X5 compare to Klipsch Custom 2's?
310 and X5 can be had for ~£100, while the 2's are £67, is it worth to go for any of them or should I settle for the 2's?

But £67 for Custom 2 would be money well spent.

X5, new £109 or used $100, but would they be any good? Cnet rates them higher than C2's, and 310's rates highest of the three, if that matters?

There was a video review done by cnet between the X5 and Shure SE310. Its fun watching it but you don't have to take their review seriously.

Not s(h)ure what to say about that video c(k)lip(sch)...
Doesn't look like they go deep enough into the ear for a start, and the subjectiveness of the whole battle is quite something.

Entertainingly executed though.

btw mp3, the 3 of them should be roughly comparable sound quality wise, the current cheap price of the custom 2 makes it easily the best value of the 3
