Head-Fiers- was hoping to get some suggestions.

I'm currently running an iBasso D10 with partially modded Denon d2000 headphones (connected to analog chain of a music fidelity lps phono stage and Sansui SR 636 turntable), and I'm hoping to upgrade to a desktop tube amp in order to resolve the overly agressive treble issue I can't seem to get rid of. I've tried about a dozen foam mods in addition to the markl mod to try to get rid of the d2000 treble, but the sound is still not to my liking.

I'm wondering if the following tube amps would be a suitable (and significant) uprade to my iBasso D10-

HiFiman EF5
Schiit Valhalla
Woo Audio WA6

Any thoughts?

Tubes are not a good match for the denons.
Heck anything with an output impedance of 4ohms and up is a bad match.

If your looking at spending that much then Look at the Yulong D100 II, it has a function to scale down the treble over 10khz by 3dB (i think)
Wow I have been mentioning this thing a lot lately...

its a DAC/AMP, and o **** its not gonna work... its primary function is a DAC and it does not have analogue inputs.

Owell, so much for that, Scaling down treble in the analogue domain is quite tricky, even I know that. Good luck
