Checked out several under $30 IEM threads but I couldn't really figure out if the the highly recommended IEMs were what I am looking for. I've owned the RE-262 and that sound signature is something that I enjoy, although it was hard to drive without an amp when I'm out and about.
I was wondering if there are any IEMs under $30 that is somewhat similar to the RE-262? I've had the Sony MDR-EX10 and used them to workout and enjoyed their sound although they have a tendency to die out after several months of use. The Philips SHE3580 seem to be a popular budget IEM, any thoughts on whether they fit the sound I'm looking for?
I'm not really good with the technical jargon yet but I think I'd like something that is warm, mid-range focused with a slight emphasis on bass but not enough to fit a basshead's taste, I think what I'm after is a tight bass.
Thanks!
