Here is an email I sent off to Westone. I'm hoping those with some experience on these issues could help me out.

Anyhow, I listen to music exclusively at home using custom earmolds from an old set of hearing aids which apparently were made by you according to my audiologist. Been wearing hearing aids for 35 years and these UM2's are much clearer (though with not as much impact) than my Senn 595's. I plan on listening to the UM2's probably 80% of the time, and that will be a lot!
My question. Can the UM2's be recabled to a longer length? Need at least 6 feet.
Also do you offer a pair of balanced cables for use with a balanced system?<
Anyway, I need about 6 feet total length. Thanks in advance!
