a new headphone from Ultrasone, i believe it's called signature dj. basically has the same build as the signature pro. i tried it some some schiit amp.  it does have more bass than SP.  it was at the Hong Kong Hifi Audio show last week.

Well the ultrasones really did look interesting. I'm wondering if they'll be tuned like their own DJ line right now. I have to say the Ultrasones are the most...attractive sounding headphones out there..

Very interested. Wondering if it's a more 'fun' version of the SP. Is it on par sound wise? I guess I'm asking if anyone has tried both at this point.

Don't think anyone had tried it yet...we weren't even allowed to try it even though it was on display at the expo

I contacted Synthax the UK supplier and they should be shipping late September/early October here, either way i'm gonna order them, there doesn't seem to be any indication of price yet though.

Fhuang how much more bass do the Signature DJ have to the Pro? Is it a slight boost or a really noticeable boost? I'm also assuming it's more of a mid bass boost.

I am very interested in these.  Would you say the overall sound quality of the Signature Pro is still there, but with boosted low end?

a noticeable boost.  strong bass.  thicker sounding overall.

Any thoughts on the highs?  Were they still neutral like the Sig Pro or, shrill and harsh, IMO, like their lower-end models?

They do look cool although I am not sure that they look better than the Signature Pro, just different.
