Why do people keep spreading false information. The UE 900's are not $600. They are $400 which is the same price as the Heir 4Ai's.

Hey slick, I've since corrected that. They are 600 on the australian ue website, though.

these are in stock on apple...damn I'm trying not to buy these before i see some reviews

They aren't in stock stock...  Logitech is taking Pre-Orders...  Apple is basically doing the same thing XD  You won't see any reviews until some units are shipped out.  Even then, it'd be a good idea to wait a couple weeks.

Electronically generated images are made to look purty.  I'm sure they still look great in person though (at least I hope so ;P).

If I do make the purchase it won't be from the Australian site. I'll have someone ship these to me from US.

$200 difference is $200!!

Edit: Wait, how much are they in Australia? Last I saw was $599?

This mean TF10s will soon be mine.

But this is hoping they dumped some real UE knowledge into these badboys. Just may be willing to take the $400 plunge first chance I get (yay for livin' in the US of A)

Well I can't speak for it's sonic's but at least UE got rid of the Tri-Fi stock cables. Those cables were terrible so that's a good first sign these new IEM's may have been given a little extra thought build and fit wise.

they definitely paid attention to the fit and form - I can't wait to read some feedback...at the same price as Heir's 4Ai, it'll be interesting to read a comparison.

I forgot to mention that i was told the new lineup will initially be available exclusively via the Apple stores. The press release doesn't mention the initial exclusivity.

I have said it will be very very unlikely that UE900 will trump the 4.Ai that you have but heard. They are similar phones, set up price etc and I may be bring the first comparison.
Shame I lack experience to do what i want though like you hheh

Thing is swimsonny even though they may have the same amount of drivers won't necessarily mean they will sound alike or one is gonna sound better than the other. It will depend on many factors. Such as the drivers used and the implementation/tuning. X-overs and impedance will all contribute to these differences. I am skeptical myself since the TF10 was quite a fail IMO in comparison to other comparably priced IEM or even cheaper models. But being UE is involved in this, I think they really have some big potential and experience.
