Well there has been a lot of rage about these new denons (which i just ordered) but these Triple Fi 10s are on sale (...with triple drivers). Im assuming the Denons have the "hybrid drivers" (so does that mean dual like the UE 700? bit skeptical), but i ma getting the feeling that they are in totally different leagues.

I guess im looking for some reassurance about the Denons, so what info am i missing about these (comparing them to the triple-fi and even the 700's).
Thanks in advance.

(Trying to resist the temptation...)

I got a chance to listen to some UE700 a while back and I think It has a cleaner more transparent sound than the TF10, with less bass presence. I found it to be more analytical than the triple fi 10 but it sounds lifeless in comparison to me. TF10 has a more expansive sound stage with a nice baseline and overall just sounded more musical and engaging.

I had the TF10's, and now own the UE 700's. I greatly prefer the UE 700's

Much more comfortable to wear, and do not have that recessed mids of the TF10.

Thats the exact experience i would think i'd have with them. wondering though how much better they (700's) would be than the c710's, seeing the c710's are even compared to IE8's.
