Hi Guys [and Gals too!],
I have an opportunity to buy headphones, on the one side is Ultimate Ears 700, on the other - Fischer Audio Tandem.
I already know that FAT is dual driver dynamic and UE 700 is dual driver armature. Which means they are a bit different league. There is also price difference - around two times more for UE 700. [I'm talking about my specific situation here].
I don't have a chance to test-drive them first, so I hope you good people will help me out a bit : )
First: sound quality - I'm guessing UE 700 will blast FAT, am I right? [I listen mostly to rock, metal, OSTs and orchestral alike and some trance too].
I have little experience with phones so far - it includes Creative EP-630 - they were okay.. until I bought SoundMagic PL50 and I loved them!
Then: build quality - I've seen that UE 700 has some issues here, are they bad?
Third: is it justified to pay 2x more for UE 700? or is there a chance that Fischers will be..well, better?
Hope my poor English is understandable ; P
Thanks in advance,
Stan.
