I purchased my ue 500 about a month ago
for the price i paid i thought the SQ was superb
however, i HATE their flat cable and it makes a weird sound whenever i turn my head
so i am planning on returning these
now here is my question:
i heard a lot of good reviews on vsonic gr06
i was wondering whether i should return my ue 500 for vsonic gr06
or get an exchange for another ue 500 (hopefully this time i wont have a problem)
I also heard gr06 has a bad treble, but how bad is it? is it a deal breaker?
which has a better SQ overall?
I listen to all kinds of music, acoustic, jazz, hip hop, pop music, male vocal
so basically im looking for all-rounder
 
please help me out

The GR06s are very mid-centric, slight roll-off on both ends. It's not a huge deal breaker especially for the price, but if you enjoy the slightest of sparkle these won't have it. Mids are very lush and prettied-up though, so they'd do fine for your genres.
