I am looking for a kind DIY member to buid me a couple of tube adapters please.

You don't need killer skills to make these , assuming octal base to noval or similar socket
 
1. Buy the octal base, a simple chassis mount socket and a flange that will fit the top of the octal base
 

 

 
use a file to create a shelf for the socket to sit in 
 

 
Test fit it and if it looks ok, solder the leads to connect the pins to the socket and glue the top down. 
 

 
and as you can see , photography skills are not aligned with any other skill i might fool myself into thinking I have.
