Hey everyone,
I've spent some time reading reviews, guides and impressions regarding modding the Shure by changing dampers.
The main things I've managed to pick up:
1. Dampers need to be 2.08 diameter
2. There is no specific tool to easily change dampers.
3. To my understanding one can't damage the earbud but can wreck a damper
4. Still left with a lot of unanswered questions.
So I decided to start a new thread and gather users knowledge to create an "easy" awl through guide for damper modding.
I would appreciate if people could correct me regarding the size(diameter) and direct me to a guide on how to.
This whole idea of changing the slung completely in an cheap an easy way blows my mind.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
